Was doing some “spring cleaning” on my notebook hard drive and found that there were tones of pictures yet to be edited and shared on my blog. So, to begin with I will post on seafood restaurant located at Kampung Baru KL. This is the only village which is in the heart of hustle bustling city of Kuala Lumpur. There a plenty of food you can get from this village if you intend to treat yourself with local malay delicacies such as nasi lemak, nasi briayani and etc.

My wife colleague proclaims that this shop located at Kampung Baru served the best seafood. So, we went there with my wife other colleagues for dinner. The shop name called D’lala Seafood which serves authentic Thai cuisine.

The ambiance inside the house.

The shop was set in an old Malay house turn to a restaurant. To find a parking at Kampung Baru is hard. You need to have guts to park your car beside the main road and if you were unlucky, you will get a piece of paper place on your wiper either from DBKL enforcer or the police. But lucky that night I didn’t get any.
We order few dishes to be shared among 9 of us. As most of us were not sure on what to order, so we ask my wife friend to recommend which dishes is the best. So we end up ordering 8 dishes.

Fried Pandan Chicken

Fried Beef Thai Style

Sweet and sour chicken

Fried Asparagus with Oyster Sauce

Kerabu Perut

Masak Daging Merah

The desert buffet line.

For the tom yam, ermmm..... i still prefer tom yam serve at Bangsar which i’d posted few months back . The taste of the tom yam here taste a bit diluted. The rest of the food is quite nice.
For the desert, there were a buffet line for desert and you can have as much as you want. The main desert for me is the Pulut Durian which is my favourite.
The price are quite pricey maybe due to the ambience at the restaurant.
